Luxury fashion and beauty platform, NET-A-PORTER and The MeshMinds Foundation are partnering to present 'Please Insert Women' - a first-of-its-kind Creative Technology Incubation Programme for women and/or non-binary artists in Southeast Asia. Explore the power of creativity and technology to craft a conscious and sustainable future for all, led by 4 women artists from Singapore.
NET-A-PORTER aims to build and enable a sustainable and conscious community around NET SUSTAIN, its curated platform, offering you the choice to invest in exceptional fashion and beauty products that have been consciously crafted. Every product in the NET SUSTAIN edit is selected to ensure that it meets at least one of nine key attributes that take into account human, animal and environmental welfare, as well as, align with industry best practices.
Each artist taking part in Please Insert Women has explored these nine attributes over 8 weeks. Working with The MeshMinds Foundation, they then learned how to transform their original digital artworks into wearable art for the face using the latest augmented reality tools for Instagram.
Together, the artists, NET-A-PORTER and The MeshMinds Foundation are ready to present original digital artworks that bring to life the sustainability messaging in interactive and engaging ways.
