career highlights:  I don’t think I’ve had any yet. Or, I should say, I think my career highlights are still to come!

which creative people, places and things on your radar right now?

people: Screen printer Dan Mumford is good. I went to a demonstration of his recently and got a free print so he deserves a mention.

places: Cornwall (my favourite place in the world), the library, the British Museum,  my garden – which brings me on to one of my favourite things: growing vegetables. Only started this year but I’m already planning next year’s crop.

things: Music – cheery stuff (not really!): Genghis Tron and anything on Southern Lord records; Films – Funny Ha Ha (Andrew Bujalski) and Paranoid Park (Gus Van Sant) are two of my recent favourites.

what’s your favourite daydream? That my girlfriend and I move to Cornwall with our cat and live in a nice cottage by the sea and I get to make films all day.

what was the last rule you broke? Umm.. letting the cat sit on the kitchen work surface / dinner table and drink from my glass. Is that so wrong?
